Thanks to the initial quality of the submitted manuscripts and the journal's careful review process, each issue of Human Reproduction contains high-quality articles. For clinical infertility practice and especially the novel treatment options for infertile couples, we aim to provide the best available evidence indicating that a new therapeutic approach has a real benefit. Considering novel infertility treatments, one has always to bear in mind that the desired outcome must be better in comparison to the existing treatment options. In other words, an infertile couple must have a better chance of having a healthy child
