Antiphospholipid antibodies (APA) and recurrent pregnancy loss: treating a unique APA positive population
Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Immunology,307 Humphreys Center, Suite 307, Memphis, Tennessee 38120, USA e-mail: wkutteh{at}utmem.edu
Dear Sir,
We appreciate your interest in our work (Franklin and Kutteh, 2002
) and your comments. We did not perform bone density scans before or after heparin therapy. We defined thrombocytopoenia as less than 100 000 platelets/cc. We await the publication of a controlled trial comparing unfractionated and low molecular weight heparin for the treatment of antiphospholipid antibody syndrome.
