Cover design The front cover of Human Reproduction shows the use of a mitochondrion-specific stain, MitoTracker CMTM Ros (red), together with a nuclear pore complex-specific antibody mAb 414 (white), a DNA-specific stain DAPI (blue) and an outer dense fibre-specific antibody pAb 4443 (green) to identify spermatids in cell populations extracted from adult rhesus monkey testes. The round spermatids (right) are identified by the reduced number of nuclear pores (white), strongly polarized mitochondria (red) and the presence of nascent outer dense fibres (green).
