Cover design The front cover of Human Reproduction shows the characteristic bi-directional interference pattern seen with pulsed wave Doppler insonation of an arterio-arterial anastomosis (AAA). Detection of AAA is now sufficiently accurate to become a routine antenatal investigation, indicating a 9-fold reduction in risk of twin-twin transfusion syndrome.
