Cover design The cover of Human Reproduction shows staining of human embryos with the JC-1 probe, sensitive to high-polarized mitochondria. Putative J-aggregate fluorescence indicating high-polarized mitochondria (right-hand side) shows localization in the pericortical cytoplasm in regions free from intercellular contact.
