Cover design The cover of Human Reproduction shows testicular cell suspension incubated with CREST antisera directed against kinetochore proteins produces discrete centromere signals that allow easy quantitation of chromosome numbers. Concurrent use of anti-COR-1 antibody directed against the synaptonemal complex and anti-histone H1T antibody (not shown) allows visual discrimination of round spermatids (top right) from other cells such as the pachytene spermatocyte in the bottom left of the image.
