Cover design The cover of Human Reproduction shows an example of the use of spectral karyotyping (SKY) to analyse chromosome segregation during the first meiotic division in mouse oocytes. The background monotone picture shows the same chromosome spread stained with DAPI. Mouse mutants that affect oocyte growth were used as models to investigate chromosomal abnormalities and meiotic non-disjunction. For further details, see pp. 1171-1180.
