About the Cover

Cover Figure

The cover of Human Reproduction shows green fluorescent protein (GFP)-negative antral (top row), growing (middle) and primordial (bottom) follicles in wild-type mouse ovarian tissue transplanted into GFP-positive transgenic hosts in an attempt to test whether circulating germ cell progenitors could colonise the ovaries and organise new follicles. The oocyte nuclei (arrows) are all negative for GFP. For further details see Begum et al., pp. 2326-2330.
